Summary:  Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court--but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. `As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms--and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future--and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

Is it just me but everything that Sarah J. Maas writes keeps getting better and better! ACOMAF is probably my favorite work from her so far, with Queen of Shadows coming in at a near second. I must admit that the beginning was really weird with all the personality changes and all, but once that was over, it was gold star all the way.

There were a few new characters introduced in the book who I thought was a great addition, especially the ones from the Night Court and Feyre's sisters make an appearance in the book as well. I still don't like any of her sisters at all, mostly because I find them to be snobbish and spoiled, but after everything that happened at the end, my opinion might change.

There were definitely a lot of steamy scenes, especially between Feyre and Rhysand, but who didn't see that happening. There were a lot of sexual tension between the two throughout the book. They have their cute little banters that makes me chuckles a lot.

Without a doubt this is a five-star read. I have now patiently waiting for the next one and see how it goes from there!
